February 21st, Today, I stopped by our Interact Club, my Rotary Club sponsors at Dunedin High School. The first pic is me, Larry Franklin, Interact Club President Cyniah Green, Club vice-president Cameron Walsh, and Rotary Interact club sponsor Ms. Meredith Cappel-Kane. The second pic is a club member pic. These students have been very active in supporting their school and community non-profits. This Club has greatly helped a non-profit called "Ready For Life." This non-profit supports kids aging out of foster care. You may not know that when foster kids turn 18, they must move out of the foster home even if their foster parents want them to stay. If the foster parents keep the foster kid after 18 years of age, the foster parents will no longer qualify to support foster children in their home.
