Literacy Committee Updates
Pat Bauer provided an update on the literacy committee's activities. The committee distributes signed books to elementary schools and little free libraries, collaborating with other organizations. They are also refurbishing damaged little free libraries near schools. Pat mentions an international literacy project in Guatemala and a clothing drive for Dunedin Middle School students.

Interact Clubs
Larry Franklin explains that while the middle and high school programs are currently idle due to the lack of a faculty advisor, they have been successful in the past. Members raise funds for various causes, including prosthetics for youth, support for foster children, and staff recognition at the school.
Triathlon Fundraiser and Sponsorship Drive
Larry discusses the upcoming triathlon event, now in its 21st year. The race is a sprint-distance triathlon held at a state park, typically attracting 350-400 participants. Last year's event generated over $34,000 in revenue, including sponsorships and donations, with a net profit of around $14,000. The organizers aim for 450 participants this year and need at least 60 volunteers. Larry emphasizes the importance of sponsorships to cover race expenses and fund scholarships. He encourages people to visit the triathlon website for sponsorship information and to sign up as volunteers.
