The Rotary Club of Dunedin was recently visited by Katie Flaherty, Director of Outreach and Development for Camp Boggy Creek. This amazing organization offers a camp experience for children with medical issues.
Camp Boggy Creek came into being when a dying teenager's words reached past her parents to the ears of Paul Newman and General Norman Schwartzkopf. Since opening in 1996, Camp has provided over 90,000 campers and their families with a serious medical illness, a FREE life-changing Camp experience. Katie shared with us the weekend and week-long Camp experiences, the many ways Camp supports children and their families.
